Fear of being overrun by another flood following the breakdown of bridges and threats of gully erosions has enveloped the people of Taraba State.
The latest such bridge collapse is the Dan-Kuturu bridge in Mutum-Biyu in Gassol local government council which occurred in Jalingo. Speaking to DAILY POST on the development, residents of the community identified the government’s failure to be proactive, as a major reason for the collapse of the bridge.
DAILY POST gathered that residents hardly now go to bed with their eyes closed following the rate at which gully erosions have continued to ravage major roads and communities in the state.
