Making the call at the presentation of the party's flags to the local government chairmanship candidates of the party, on Wednesday in Jalingo, the state capital, the party asked all the candidates to embrace peaceful strategies for campaigning rather than violence. The candidates were as well tasked to tread extra legitimate miles to discourage the idea of supporters moving along with weapons during the campaign.
The APC in the state, according to him, 'is fully prepared and confident of our candidates’ victory in the election'. He added that 'both the State Independent Electoral Commission and the state government have assured us of a transparent exercise'. Jadana stressed that APC candidates in the election are men of proven character and prudence who are out to help attract progressive ideas for the development of Taraba state.
