A tanker driver and his assistant, whose identities were yet to be ascertained on Tuesday, reported themselves to the police at Ibafo Police station after their vehicle allegedly crushed two persons t

o death along the Lagos-Ibadan Expressway.Our correspondent gathered that the accident involved a tanker with registration number ABC 580 XS and a motorcycle with no number outbound Lagos.

According to an eyewitness, who did not want his name in print, the truck driver was on speed and hit the motorcycle from the rear. Akinbiyi in a statement on Tuesday said the victims lost their lives as a result of the impact of the accident.
