Tandoh’s new appointment follows a successful hosting of the fifth edition last year, hence the Main Organising Committee's decision to re-appoint him for the sixth edition, which has now been upgraded to a Challenger Plus status.

The championships hold between August 7 and 11 at the Molade Okoya Thomas Indoor Sports Hall of Teslim Balogun Stadium, Surulere, Lagos.

Tandoh’s new appointment follows a successful hosting of the fifth edition last year, hence the Main Organising Committee decision to re-appoint him for the sixth edition, which has now been upgraded to a Challenger Plus status. ITTF Africa Regional President and Chairman of the MOC, Mr. Wahid Enitan Oshodi expressed ITTF’s satisfaction of Tandoh’s ability and urged him to bring his over 25 years of experience in sports administration to bear in this new assignment.The ITTF Nigeria Open Challenge Plus is Africa’s elite table tennis tournament.
