‘Take Responsibility’ Or COVID-19 Lockdown Easing Will Be Reviewed, Sanwo-Olu Warns Lagosians

Lagos State Governor, Babajide Sanwo-Olu says residents must take responsibility and obey social distancing measures or the government will review easing of the COVID-19 lockdown currently being implemented.

The Governor reiterated guidelines such as the use of face masks in public, noting that the measures were designed to keep people safe. The Governor added that while trucks and other vehicles carrying designated essentials will continue to be given access into the state, his government will not tolerate trucks hiding people among goods.

Lock down in Lagos or even the country Nigeria, will not solve any problem, since our government are not ready to look for cure instead they are waiting for other countries to give them cure. All what they can do is to get the money. They only succeed in generating hunger virus.

The public need massive education on coronavirus pandemic. The thinking is that they are being forced to comply whereas it would have been better if they are persuaded that wearing of face mask and safe distancing are in their own interest.

Human are naturally wired to disobey the law, it is the duties of the authority to ensure compliance. It is easy to monitor such compliance if implemented through the local govt, it should mandatory that access to markets, public transports, and stores must be with face masks.

jidesanwoolu lockdown is not the solution to end Covid19. If you lockdown again, the pains and worries will be on your shoulder. They has been minimal crime since lockdown was lifted. Think out of the box!!!

They should stop threatening us and make public the treatment regime used for those freed from isolation centres. People are recovering from COVID-19. What medication are they using? Let all hospitals have the idea and allow them administer as 1st aid. So much secrecy on COVID-19
