Police in Ondo state have arrested four suspected armed robbers for allegedly robbing and killing their victims.
The robbers were said to have killed one Mr Adebayo Orogun in the robbery operation, while some of his items were also stolen. He said “On December 21, 2019, at about 3am, the suspects invaded the house of one Mr Orogun Adebayo at his residence in Ifon and shot and killed him.“They also robbed the family of their valuables which include the sum of N25,000.00, mobile phones of different makes: one Samsung galaxy phone, one Techno 4 phone, one Tecno 6 phone, one Infinix phone, two Itel phones and unspecified amount of money from his car.
“Through intelligence gathering, there was a headway which led to the arrest of the suspects and they all confessed to have been part of the robbery and killing on the said day.”
