A former Commissioner for Transport in Abia State, Mrs Nnenna Obewu Onwuka has advised women in the country to always assist their husbands in the payment of their children's school fees. This, she said, would reduce the burden placed on the shoulders of their husbands in running the family.

A former Commissioner for Transport in Abia State, Mrs Nnenna Obewu Onwuka has advised women in the country to always assist their husbands in the payment of their children's school fees. This, she said, would reduce the burden placed on the shoulders of their husbands in running the family.

Obewu Onwuka who applauded the contributions of women in the development of families and the nation at large regretted that some wives hoard their money instead of helping with school fees payment. According to her, kids are sometimes driven out of classes for not paying fees because some of the mothers were waiting for their husbands to provide school fees. 'If you have the money, assist your husband.
