The Council of Superbrands Nigeria and the Global Board of Superbrands International have approved 470 brands across 93 categories to be conferred with the Superbrands Status for the Nigerian Market for the year.

Chief Executive of Superbrands Nigeria, Dr Sabastine Okeke, in a statement said the awards event slated for November 27 was driven by a market-wide brands research led by KANTAR Research. He said Superbrands Nigeria deployed the same global standards across all countries and major markets of the world with local assessments to recognise and celebrate the 10 distinctive attributes of the brand.

Okeke said details of the nominated brands would be made public in the coming weeks leading to the November ‘Night of Tribute’.According to the statement, the Superbrands Nigeria Council is led by Dr Abiodun Shobanjo while members include Dr John Momoh, Mr George Thorpe, Prof. Abigail Ogwezzy-Ndisika, Mr Chima Okenimkpe, Mr Nurudeen Rafindadi, Dr Bayo Adekanmbi, Mrs Ronke Bammeke, Mr Kelechi Nwosu, and Mr Feyi Olubodun.All rights reserved.
