The Nigerian Education Loan Fund has said students from state-owned tertiary institutions would benefit from the student loan scheme. NELFUND addressed confusion regarding the eligibility of students for its new student loan programme on Tuesday, in a press statement, signed by its Media and Public Relations Lead, Nasir Ayitogo.

Dr. Peter Ubi, the Chairman of the Academic Staff Union of Universities University of Calabar chapter, has expressed concerns over the number of students dropping out of school in the country. Ubi made the expression in an interview with the News Agency of Nigeria on Tuesday in Calabar.
