The Corporate Farmers International has partnered the Chartered Institute of Stockbrokers, Lagos State Ministry of Agriculture and the Kebbi State Government to inaugurate a digital agriculture e-learning academy.

The co-founder, Prince Ade Ajayi, at the inauguration of the e-learning platform in Lagos, said the platform would serve as an opportunity to leverage technology to educate farmers and agripreneurs in the agricultural ecosystem. “Digitalisation is key to development and that is why we have embarked on this digital learning. Information is also crucial in any sector, we are not leaving the children behind in our quest; it is an all inclusive partnership,” Ajayi said.

Also, a CFI Co-founder, Mr Akin Alabi, said arrangements were in place for field and practical training with the CFI partners. The Lagos State Commissioner for Agriculture, Ms Abisola Olusanya, said the population of the state had made it necessary to explore ways of increasing food production and enhance productivity to attain food sufficiency.
