Sowore’s lawyer reveals next step towards releasing him from DSS custody

Barrister Inibehe Effiong, human rights lawyer and counsel to the detained convener of ‘Revolution Now’ movement, Omoyele Sowore, has said plans are underway to vacate the Court ruling which directed the Department of State Services, DSS, to keep him for 45 days.ruling to enable the DSS conclude its investigation into the allegation of treasonable felony leveled against Sowore.

Speaking in an exclusive chat with DAILY POST on Thursday, the rights lawyer, who is also the National Legal Adviser of African Action Congress , said they were disappointed by the decision of the judge to have Sowore detained till September 21 going by the facts available in the public domain.
