Southern states to submit anti-grazing bills to state assemblies - Punch Newspapers

Indications have it that the Southern Governors’ Forum has directed state houses of assembly in the South to enact law backing the ban on open grazing.reported that governors of the Southern region met in Asaba, the Delta State capital on Tuesday during which they came up with the ban on open grazing.

The Chairman of South-South Governors’ Forum and Governor of Delta State, Ifeanyi Okowa, said that every state would enact its law to enforce the ban.

Ports that were meant to be built in the southern part of Nigeria for years weren’t built; cos of corruption. The restructuring drums are rolling and the sounds are heard from almost all corners of the Nation. The south western governor’s are coming together now, hopefully.

The state assembly should also reach out to citizens in theirs domains for opinions and suggestion and referendum most be the only tool to determine the out come of the subject matter.
