The four Governors of the Peoples Democratic Party PDP in the southeast failed to attend the zonal meeting of the party on Sunday in Anambra State.
Leading the pack of the governorship aspirants were Dr Obiora Okonkwo, Sen Uche Ekwunife and Hon Chris Azubuogu among others. Addressing the members, the zonal chairman, Mr Austin Umahi, warned interested aspirants to rather resort to hard work than hoping to hijack the party. Hon Ndubuisi Nwobu, Anambra state Chairman of PDP, said the party would not do any form of merchandising in the forthcoming election.
