ALL Progressives Congress women in the South South region have promised to support Asiwaju Bola Tinubu’s ambition to become the President of Nigeria come 2023.

The party’s National Women Leader, Dr. Beta Edu; wife of Cross River State Governor, Dr. Linda Ayade and wife of the presidential candidate, Senator Oluremi Tinubu, gave the assurance on Saturday during the South South APC mega rally at the U.J. Esuene Stadium in Calabar.While urging them to keep their PVC’s safe, she noted that with the support of women across Nigeria, the party is sure of victory.“Do not allow anybody to collect your PVC, take good care of it, that is your vote.

In her remarks, Ayade thanked the APC national leadership for giving the state party the opportunity to host women across the South South zone to rally support for Tinubu and his running mate, Kashim Shettima. “We, the progressive women of South-South are here today to reiterate our support and to say we are ready for the renewed hope for Nigeria,” she stated.

While welcoming the women to the state, Governor Ayade assured them of the state’s support towards victorious elections in 2023.
