Irked by high level of youth unemployment in the South-East geo-political zone, an elder statesman and Chairman of Ohanaeze Ndigbo

Irked by a high level of youth unemployment in the South-East geo-political zone, an elder statesman and Chairman of Ohanaeze Ndigbo Elders Council, Chief Emmanuel Iwuanyanwu, has hinted that there would be a collaborative industrial economic revolution in the zone soon.

He noted that the heavyweights in the zone were aware of the economic, social and political problems bedevilling them. Iwuanyanwu, who spoke while receiving the leadership of the Ohanaeze Ndigbo Worldwide Youth Wing in his office in Owerri, maintained that the impending industrial feat would be geared towards employing several youths in the zone in addition to improving the Gross Domestic Product of the zone and also export some of the products to improve the Gross National Product of Nigeria.

Speaking, the National Assistant Youth Leader of the body, Wenceskus Ogbonnia, said they were elated by Iwuanyanwu’s disposition to emasculate the region from encumbrances and shackles of poverty.
