Addressing journalists after a South-East Governors Forum meeting, Ebonyi State governor, Dave Umahi, pleaded with leaders of other regions of the country to note the threats to Igbo people and protect them.
Umahi disclosed that the strategic meeting also condemned killings of security operatives and civilans in the South-East and other zones and urged security operatives to discharge their responsibilities within the rules of engagement.
