South Africa has included a new restriction which includes another ban on the sale and distribution of alcohol to help contain the spread of Coronavirus.

Speaking on a nationally televised address on Sunday night, July 12, President Cyril Ramaphosa introduced new restrictions. Ramaphosa said top health officials have warned of impending shortages of hospital beds and oxygen as South Africa reaches a peak of COVID-19 cases. He said some hospitals have had to turn away patients because all their beds are full.
