Six Imo lawmakers defect to PDP

Six members of the Imo House of Assembly on Monday dumped their parties for the People’s Democratic Party .

The decamped lawmakers include Chiji Collins of the All Progressives Grand Alliance Isiala Mbano while Mike Iheanetu , Ukoha Broho , Victor Onyewuchi , Ken Agbim and Lloyd Chukwuemeka were from Action Alliance . “The movement is in good faith and in our efforts to move the state forward. We thank our numerous constituents for their continuous support,” the letter read.

It will be recalled that erstwhile clerk of the House, Christian Duru was suspended on June 3 for allegations of misconduct.
