“Our admitted patients will go down theoretically to 18.”

Lagos State Government on Thursday said six coronavirus patients have recovered in the state and will be discharged soon.

Lagos State health commissioner Akin Abayomi in an interview on Nigeria Info said, “Tomorrow, we are going to discharge six of the patients in Lagos.“6 of our #COVID19 inpatients have recovered and will be discharged soon,” Tunde Ajayi, special assistant to Lagos State governor Babajide Sanwo-Olu tweeted earlier.Lagos is the worst hit among other Nigerian states by the global pandemic with 32 cases according to the National Centre for Disease Control .

Abuja has 10 cases. Ogun State has three cases. Ekiti, Oyo, Edo, Bauchi, Osun and Rivers State have one case each to put the total of confirmed cases in Nigeria at 51 as at Thursday 2:00 pm. To prevent further spread of the virus, the federal government and state governments have barred gathering of not less than 20 people.from Thursday for a week to curb the spread. Only those that provide essential services are to be opened.
