Edward Nnachi, Tony Okafor, Raphael Ede and Chidiebube OkeomaTHE Ebonyi State Governor, David Umahi, and the vice presidential candidate of the Peoples Democratic Party in the 2019 general election, Mr Peter Obi, have lamented the eruption of violence in some parts of the South-East zone occasioned by the sit-at-home declared and suspended by the Indigenous People of Biafra.
Umahi, who called on the Christian Association of Nigeria to intervene in the development, stressed that the region was losing economically more than others as a result of the situation. Reacting to the incident, Obi described the action as “un-Igbo”, out of place and a misguided aggression.”
