Peller proposed that the Nigeria Police Force to take over the responsibilities of the NSCDC.
The bill seeks to repeal the National Security and Civil Defence Corps Act 2007, establish a transition management committee to superintend over the NSCDC, develop regulations and implement procedures for the transfer of assets and personnel of the corps to the Nigeria Police Force, and other related matters.
Nscdc and police are of different roles this is not what the country need from this (dis) honourable..the country'needs bills of developmental projects which will benefits all the citizens of this country

Shina Peller no well. NSCDC has been helping people to solve land and domestic and community problems. They collect money like the Police but they solve problems unlike the Police.
Hon.Pellar should channel his energy to legislations that can bring food to the table of Nigerians.

I think it's a good one. The NSCDC personnel should be drafted to join the NPF and Army so as to equip the forces with more personels and to prevent job losses. Sometimes I do feel the NSCDC is a misplaced priority.
I support this bill wholeheartedly. Too many agencies with duplicity of functions and in the process, unnecessary rivalries and clashes.

Dead on arrival, fusion of related agencies would be fine Immigration & Customs into one, VIO & FRSC into one, NSCDC & Police and other Sister’s Agencies into One. And complete overhaul of the NPF with creation of State Police
