Shell Nigeria Exploration and Production Company Ltd , said oil output at the Bonga field increased year-on-year, YoY, by 36.6 per cent to 138.000 barrels per day, bpd in 2023, from 101,000 bpd in 2022.
“Nigeria’s first deep-water development produced some 138,000 barrels of oil per day in 2023 compared to around 101,000 in 2022. “Bonga continues to justify the investments and hard work that led to its discovery,” said SNEPCo Managing Director Elohor Aiboni.
