“She was kind, generous and did her work with joy” – as tributes pour in late Inspector Jummai Musa dancing police officer at Ogba, LagosThe beloved dancing police officer frequently seen at Ogba roundabout has passed away. Inspector Jummai Musa, as she was known, had requested and been granted leave by her direct supervisor.

Tragically, on Friday, March 8th, 2024, her supervisor received news from a police station in Nassarawa that Inspector Jummai had died in a bus accident while traveling to her home state of Gombe. She was one of three fatalities in the accident. The late Inspector Jummai Musa was not only known for her vibrant dancing at her duty post but also for her remarkable achievements, having won several awards for her dedication and service. Described as a generous, friendly figure who occasionally directed traffic, Inspector Jummai’s untimely death has deeply affected many, including Okada and Tricycle riders who shared their thoughts with Vanguard.
