Human Rights Lawyer, Mr Femi Falana has faulted President Muhammadu Buhari’s appointment of the new Service Chiefs following the resignation of the former officers.
“The appointments of service chiefs without the concurrence of the National Assembly which had been the practice since 1999 was challenged in the Federal High Court sometime in 2008 by Mr. Festus Keyamo SAN in the case of Keyamo v President Goodluck Jonathan . “Because it was acknowledged that the judgment was sound and unimpeachable the Federal Government did not challenge any aspect of it at the Court of Appeal.
Thank you sir. Let it be the parliament (even though we know there is rubber stamping somewhere) that appointed them so that we may be able to say or voices in parliament were not silent when an illiterate/ convict/ foreigner/...was made chief.

Some arguments can look very silly. If they are nominated but not appointed yet and the ones appointed have been asked go, who then are our military taking orders from as their heads? In fact, this country is a mistake.
