The committee’s chairman, Obinna Ogba, said this during the verification of Lotto companies operating in Nigeria.READ ALSO: While asking the clerk to invite the firm again, the senator declared, “If they did not honour our invitation again, we will ask the National Lottery Commission to seal their offices.”

These idle senators are just chasing shadow. They want to collect bribe from bet9ja. How many of these senators has employment capacity for Nigerians as provided by bet9ja. These rogues would be stoned in their respective senatorial districts by the beneficiaries of bet9ja.

Idiots instead of them to focus on what is on ground

Pls do its contributing to the the laziness of our youths.

Tell them my ticket is still running

Lol That's the only youth empowerment program in Nigeria 😁😁😂😁😂

They should first change DStv to pay as you go tariff which is how it is in other countries. Then come back for us to discuss this one.

Is it not better than looting the treasury with their big fat allowances and salaries they earn while the masses feed from hand to mouth? Useless things, they won’t use their heads to think something impactful to make lives better, seal bet9ja now and let’s see how economy grows

I don't know they should close it oh cause it not helping

Old fools we call leaders... misplace priority

Una no even get the jerk. Bet9ja has failed to bring it hush money and these people won collect am before may 29

Before commenting guys, try to read the news article..

Na them ooo

Why won't our Senate face more important issues, there are other neglected vital issues, bet9j has really helped and provides job opportunities for thousands of pple. I knw they are entitled to paying tax, and why won't a multibillionaire firm boycotts tax in a collapsed system

Rough play

Instead of working hard to earn legitimate income, many of our youth's are so consumed with the beatings, and hoping to make it big time from betting. The effect is, no more regard for, or interest in hard work. Yes, some are winning big, but how sustainable can that be?

The Senate is concerned about the betting firms' failure to remit funds to the govt, have they also thought about the negative effects of the betting firms activities on our youth population? While the older generation was plagued by pool, the youth now is bedevilled by betting.

Ndi ara!

D major employer of labour hmmmm, tell Dem say make Dem pay bribe no issue , case close

it will be wonderful

Count Borno state out as they already banned them from their state.

Also with 180 million Nigerians. Right now the relationship is terrible! Cant you do us a favour and just dont show up for swearing in

IS IT HOW TO FIGHT POVERTY IN NIGERIA

Mumu people..what is keeping crime rate still low you want to stop...

Why?

LesboNaija Mad people

Who authorized their operations in Nigeria? Betting should be banned in Nigeria. It's killing youths and some married men.

O da bi pe awon eleyi fe se oriburuku laiye won

I'm guessing it's on account of 'morality'. The same morality that doesn't stop them from marrying teenage girls.

Better do that quickly, without much ado I hate gambling, and the gamblers.

Em want use tax collect their loss money

Good for dem

E dey pain Dem ooooo

What for?

MisturBets Make they lock there office as long as they no block the online portal business continue as usual

Shey the owner is Member-Elect, House of Representatives and has been remitting to the Godfather in Lagos? This could explain why the company ignored the summon by the Senate.
