Muritala Ajaka, the Social Democratic Party, SDP, governorship candidate in Kogi State has alleged that the results sheets for the ongoing election for three local governments in the Central Senatorial Zones of Kogi State are missing.

Ajaka disclosed this while addressing journalists after casting his vote at Idah local government area of the state. He, however, commended the Independent National Electoral Commission , INEC , for an electoral arrangement he described as perfect. He also commended President Bola Tinubu for fulfilling his promise to provide security for voters during the election. “We thank the President.

He promised us security and we are seeing the security” On the missing results sheets, Ajaka said, “Original result sheets for Okehi, Adavi and Okene local government areas in the central senatorial zone are missing.' He claimed that the result sheets are already being filled even when the elections have not been concluded. The SDP candidate claimed that staff of INEC in the three local government areas had been compromised.
