Sanwo-Olu swears-in 13 new appointees

Lagos state governor, Babajide Sanwo-Olu on Monday swore-in 13 appointees into the state civil service.

The three exco members and their portfolios are: Paul Bamgbose Martins, as commissioner for special duties and inter-governmental relations; Gbenga Olanrewaju Oyerinde, special adviser on central business district and Ganiyu Ayuba Adele as special adviser on urban development. Congratulating the appointees after the swearing-in, Governor Sanwo-Olu told them that it is a call to duty and that much is expected from them.

“As a government we want to ensure that programs are time bound and people focused; we want to ensure we bring about innovative ideas in all areas of our state, we want innovation to be the way we are judged, the way we do things, I am sure you will not disappoint us.“Lagos is always a center of excellence and we shall continue to be so by building new roads, bridges and infrastructure, each day we must continue to raise the bar and ask how far we have fared.
