The Lagos State Governor, Mr Babajide Sanwo-Olu, has stated that his administration inaugurated new infrastructural and transport projects for the betterment of the populace.
Sanwo-Olu, who was represented by the Chief of Staff, Mr Tayo Ayinde, made said this on Sunday during the special church service in commemoration of his second year in office at Chapel of Christ the Light, Alausa, Ikeja. He said over the last 731 days, in spite of the effects of economic recession, his administration embarked on the rehabilitation and building of roads, classrooms and provided transport buses.
He said, ‘’We have inaugurated several projects such as the Pen Cinema Bridge, rehabilitation, upgrading and construction of roads in Somolu, Mushin, Badagry and several other parts of Lagos. ‘’We have constructed new classrooms across various government owned schools, improved water transport, and introduced more buses. These and many more we have been able to achieve through the mercies and grace of God.”
