The Lagos State Governor, Mr Babajide Sanwo-Olu, has inaugurated the newly-constructed Senator Oluremi Tinubu Primary Health Care Centre in Amuwo-Odofin.
The governor, in his address on Wednesday, described the project as a step towards the upgrading of the state’s health care system. He said, “It is a great delight and honour to formally commission the newly constructed Primary Health Centre named after our mother and mentor, Senator Oluremi Tinubu, as part of my scheduled activities during my working visit to Amuwo Odofin Local Government Area and Oriade Local Council Development Area.
“This modern healthcare facility is what our vision for infrastructural renewal of our state looks like with high-impact projects that cut across many communities and improves quality of life and the ability to earn a legitimate living, Amuwo-Odofin’s landscape is changing for good.” The Chairman, Amuwo-Odofin LGA, Dr Valentine Buraimoh, said the health centre will function as a mini-general hospital for all residents.
