Unofficial sources hinted that top security apparatus have been directed to move Muhammadu Sanusi II out of the palace and ensure the ‘immediate’ return of Bayero to the palace. One of the emirate title holders, Aminu Babba Dan’Agundi, secured an ex-parte order from Justice A. M. Liman of the Federal High Court, directing the status quo on the repealed emirate law that sacked Bayero and four other emirs in Kano.
