Operatives of the Lagos State Rapid Response Squad at the weekend arrested three suspected traffic robbers said to be terrorising Ikeja and its environs.
The police said they were nabbed following a distress call that robbers on motorcycle were operating in the area. Jidda, the police said, confessed that the gang operated on Ogun Long Bridge, Isheri, Unilag Estate, Gateway Estate, Ojodu Berger, Fela Shrine and Agidingbi since May. “We also rob in traffic, especially on Long Bridge. We avoid operating at Kara because we live there. Our neighbours may see us. We sell the phones and share the money.
