Rivers Police Identify Officers Assaulting Man In Viral Video As CP Orders Arrest

The Police Public Relations Officer in the state, Grace Iringe-Koko, disclosed this in a statement made available to journalists in Port Harcourt on Monday.

The statement reads in part: “Following the identification of the Policemen shown in a viral video harassing and assaulting an unidentified man at a Elibrada junction, Emohua, the Rivers State Command Commissioner of Police, CP OKon O Effiong, psc, fdc, has ordered the immediate arrest of the officers indicated.

What ! This is not the Nigeria police that I grew up with .it is practically true that something is wrong with our country. We need a new Nigeria and a better country .God help us , a country without law's

These officers should be arrested and locked up until the case is decided in the court. Then, dismiss them from the force and send them to jail for min 5 years.

Most of those affiliated with the police beg from people on the streets, and if you tell them about the law, they tell you this is our work, you cannot show us our work ... The government is supposed to put an end to these policemen
