The suit claimed that PDP announced the name of Fubara as the winner, contrary to the terms and guidelines of the Electoral Act 2022. The affidavit, sighted by our correspondent, disclosed that Fubara, who has been paraded as the governorship candidate of PDP, did not win the majority vote of delegates during the governorship primary that were conducted on May 25, 2022, and therefore asked the court to disqualify him in the interest of justice and fairness.All rights reserved.
