Rivers Angels defender, Sarah Iloduba has solicited the support of the fans ahead of the Super Six playoff tournament. The Port Harcourt club will battle Heartland Queens, Confluence Queens, Edo Queens, Nasarawa Amazons and Bayelsa Queens for the 2024 Nigeria Women Football League title. The Super Six tournament will be from 18th-26th May 2024.

All the matches will be played at Samson Siasia Stadium in Yenagoa. Iloduba believe fan support will help the team achieve success in the competition. 'We want to appreciate the support of the fans most especially during the regular season,' she told Rivers Angels media. 'So now onto the big one we are in the Super Six playoff tournament we need the support and love to achieve success in Bayelsa.

'We also want to appreciate the support of the state government for the massive support throughout the season and we need more of it in our quest for the NWFL title. 'We know that with the support and encouragement the trophy will definitely come to Rivers State, Let's Go Rivers Angels.' The winner of the Super Six playoff tournament will represent Nigeria in the CAF Women's Champions League next season.
