President Muhammadu Buhari has reacted to the spate of killings in the country, particularly the rise in ritual murders and deadly attacks against on-duty

He has also condemned, the latest incidents which occurred in Enugu, Imo, Abia, Zamfara and Ogun States.

While expressing the sympathy of the nation to families of all the victims, Buhari said law enforcement agencies, state governments, local authorities, community and religious leaders must rise against it by taking all lawful actions to prevent further incidents of such nature and put in place measures against the normalization of the primitive acts, hate crimes and acts of terror.

He said that killings in the name of rituals, political agitation and tribal hatred are not in keeping with the tenets of our religions and of the civilized and enlightened cultures we are all claiming to be, adding that “no person has the right to take the law in his or her own hands.”

Who aided and abeted this by his actions and inactions?

He will never be settled

Economic hardship cannot be ruled out as partly the cause.

Very unfortunate. My hardest period yet triumphing in Jesus. Please make life easy for the citizens except if you don't have God at heart. undilutedTruth

DP is lying! Nothing unsettles Buhari. He's jetted out to Belgium while citizens re searching for fuel and power

You don't say!! 🙄🙄

You politicians are the bigger/main ritualist.. You have overtime killed the destinies & fates of over 200 million with your bad economic polices and corruption. Govt that imported adulterated fuel to her citizens is the highest ritualist ever.

What is it that will not unsettle him

First 10 people to follow me should drop their number for 2gb each

Buhari that did not settle with bandits and terrorist killings in Nigeria will unsettle with ritual killings, what a comedy
