The President, Major General Muhammadu Buhari , has attributed the security challenges being faced in many parts of the country to the consequence of his regime’s “scattering” of insurgents in the North East.Buhari stated this early on Saturday in his nationwide broadcast to Nigerians to mark the 2021 Democracy Day.

Buhari described Democracy Day as a celebration of freedom and a victory for “one people, one country and one Nigeria.” “The indefatigable ‘can do’ spirit of the Nigerian has sustained us and would keep pushing us to put these challenges behind us. Buhari said when his regime decided to change Democracy Day from May 29 to June 12, it was not only to honour the sacrifices of Nigerians who fought for the return to democracy but also to demonstrate the regime’s commitment to satisfy the aspirations of the people and creating an environment for democracy to be an accepted way of life.

Exactly! We all know that...when you allowed bandits into the country to help you bolster you election results that gave you the victory. Now all this mayhem and killings with impunity is the consequences.

'What world is the President leaving in?' Is it a UAR world or Nigeria? Boko Haram(and by extension,ISWAP) is still wrecking havoc in the Northeast;Kidnappings in the Northwest and secessionist agitations in the Southeast and he says all is well. He is not a leader but a ruler.
