“The NEC will provide resolutions and recommendations that would be handy in engaging the political actors and policymakers on effective strategies for revamping our healthcare and medical education systems while stemming the tide of massive brain drain in the health sector.
“Furthermore, our current National Officers’ Committee is forging ahead with other relevant organizations to overcome the multitude of these challenges, including but not limited to appropriate remuneration for our members, perennial brain drain, deteriorating standard of medical education, dearth of infrastructure in our hospitals, and generally unsatisfactory conditions of service, among other issues, “ he said.
