Residents of Kaduna and environs have decried the current state of insecurity in the state especially, the increase in kidnapping for ransom.
According to a resident of Mahuta, a community in Igabi Local Government Area of Kaduna state, Alhaji Ibrahim Danlami the fear of criminals has caused sleep deprivation among residents He claimed that every night gunshots are heard around the area and criminals usually sneak into the community to abduct residents at will.
His words: “Kaduna residents, especially residents of Mahuta Community where I live, lived in constant fear because of the activities of hoodlums.“Every night, we hear the sound of guns shot and that is making us not to sleep well because nobody knows what is happening.”
