The House of Representatives Committee on Public Petitions has summoned the Group Chief Executive Officer of the Nigerian National Petroleum Corporation (NNPC), Mele Kyari, over a claim of $72 million by an indigenous oil services provider.

The House of Representatives Committee on Public Petitions has summoned the Group Chief Executive Officer of the Nigerian National Petroleum Corporation , Mele Kyari , over a claim of $72 million by an indigenous oil services provider. The oil company, De Coon Limited, petitioned the Reps Committee after efforts to retrieve the fund proved abortive.

Also summoned to testify are key officials of the Federal Ministry of Petroleum, including the Minister and the Permanent Secretary. Others summoned include the Group CEO of the Nigerian Upstream Petroleum Regulatory Commission , NNPCL Staff, including Mr. Momodu Mohammed , NAPIMS, Mr. Kanayo Odor, Mr. Salisu Bakaro, Mr. Lanre Richard, Engr Mohammed Ismailia; the Executive Secretary, Nigeria Content Development and Monitoring Board, and the Managing Director of Total E&P Nigeria.
