Good development for the Nation

Should I respond to this? No, make I pas 🏃🏾‍♂️🏃🏾‍♂️🏃🏾‍♂️🏃🏾‍♂️

The problem is not that we don't know dem but enforcement. Rotten security forces, NASS, Presidency and Judiciary! CCTV can't help shit. Another proposal from the Cabals to suck breast!

We need them in all public offices.

Will they use generator. ..?

CCTV is useless without a working database for the country

Nice. But the one that was captured on CCTV assaulting a woman, was set free. Without the law, video evidence or record of events is still useless. Feed the law first so it has energy to fight crime.

Arrest him and rehabilitate him den free him

How many private buildings have addresses? What's the population of humans in your country?

Stupid people what government can’t provide with alll the recovered loot they want suffering Nigerians to provide. This people are very out of touch from reality

Clowns everywhere in the name of reps

21st century proposal. But first compulsory database for the people.

Will CCTV work in the dark? Fix power!!!

Is the what will solve the masses' problem? Will dz reduce the price of food in the market Misplaced priorities everywhere

These people just open their mouth to talk. Failed REPS

is dis one law?

These ones are mad oo...it sounds quite funny but it's really annoying

when there is no uninterrupted electricity to support it... stupid set of people..

People are providing water, providing electricity by themselves now you want to provide security for themselves too.

na dem go buy & power the CCTV in private buildings & offices

Government shd do to its own public Buildings first. It's shd be a leadership by example and not by mere command.

D gov't shud blaze d trail 1st

ayemojubar Let's start with their houses. After 1 year we can extend to everyone.

Who will pay for it?

I actually thought about this for years now

Is that the change our country is faced with at the moment? All shenanigans and charlatans, they just there for the money.

If reps can do the same thing with constituency allowance it would be better

They forgot to specify it should be solar powered. Idiots

Should we run it with our generators?

Mtchwww... Una for that national assembly no get wetin to discuss again.

And who wld pay for it ? Arrogant & insenstitive lawbreakers

Oluwa wetin dey propagate

Are we in a zoo? Government agencies don’t have CCTV, so why should agencies have it?

In other words we can't guarantee you security but help us with the video

Koni da fun gbogbo yin.. na Ogun go kill all you. Our issue now is CCTV. Awon werey

Best thing would be for the government to have CCTV covering all the nooks and corners of all streets in the country in the world compelled private residence to install CCTV, they are seen as complimentary to state systems wherever they have them

Oh God of creation, see what a lawmaker is discussing in 2020 ... cctv

Nonsense idea, you don't have steady light you are talking about compulsory CCTV for private buildings and offices.

Are we going to power the cctv with candle 🕯 abi, ? Idle senators

Waste money

With cctv on all traffic point it will be more easy and capture offender or road user and cctv for speed limits...

Compulsory 24 hours electricity first.

Can you'll first avail us electricity

Reps do the needful not only private offices, the roads are equally not safe for any one. You people know what is good do it right, stop embezzlement.

No longer should time be spent on proposals, for these r actions which are already 30 years late. If this turns out right, then it's a good place to start, but I seem to know our leaders so well that I am giving up on the proposal before it has time to come alive. Prove me wrong

With which electricity to power the CCTV's? Funny country......

I support this 100% now Reps are speaking the minds of Nigerians. They should also make sure that the CCTVs are up to date and working 24/7 not just a camouflage. First time am being happy about Nigeria Reps members.

Government should first provide compulsory street and traffic lights with CCTV in all roads of the federation. Then private individuals can install theirs. CommonSense

Last I checked Cctvs need constant electricity,I can simply wait for light to go off b4 breaking in or do illegal transactions

A wonderful step in the right direction. Especially for businesses

They are just waking up😒
