The House of Representatives, on Thursday, passed the 2021 budget of the Nigeria Customs Service and the Federal Inland Revenue Service .
Also, a total of N216 billion was approved for the FIRS following the adoption of the report of the Committee on Finance, presented by its chairman, James Faleke . The two budgets had been passed by the Senate and are to run till December 31 after they are signed into law by President Muhammadu Buhari.The House also asked the Central Bank of Nigeria to procure four scanners for the NCS.
