Umar Muda, a member of the House of Representatives has introduced a bill to prohibit cross-dressing in Nigeria.
The bill was read on the floor of the House on Tuesday. It seeks to ban cross-dressing with the exemption of those using it for entertainment. In recent times, some crossdressers have become very popular in Nigeria, especially, Instagram entertainer, Bobrisky. The bill seeks to amend the same-sex marriage act of 2013 by including cross-dressing as one of the offences under the act.“A person engaging in cross-dressing is guilty of an offence and liable to imprisonment of 6 months or to a fine of five hundred thousand naira.”
Bobrisky is in trouble 😂🤣
Is this what you people are elected to do? So, cross-dressing is disturbing u people more than daily killings in this country. Cooking gas, diesel, fuel, food items.....etc, all are very very expensive unlike before but u chose to discuss cross-dressing. Shame !!!
Wahaleux 🤣 James brown kukuma don jakpa
I want the world to know that cross dressing as claimed by Nigeria fulani curropt govt is about terrorists covering their faces inform of hijab to kill innocent citizens n army. This hijab fulani don't want to say is hijab.A man wears a hijab covers his face with ak47 to kill.
For crying out loud, is this an important issue for the Honorable Members ti be discussing at this moment? with all the challenges we are facing is Bobrisky's dressing those guys are discussing. God have mercy.
Of all the numerous pressing issues we got to deal with, it’s Bobrisky & his crew that caught the fancy of the HouseNGR 🤦🏻
Is that the next thing in our nation? Think of it

The promoter of this bill is pursuing shadow while his country men and women are dying daily and some are in IDPs, caused by terrorism, banditry, kidnapping and Fulani herdsmen atrocities.Unfortunately House Rep members listened to him.
It's now clear that these reps have absolutely nothing good to offer it's constituents
Awon werey
This is just a distraction
I think we have more important issues to address in this country than this... How is cross dressing link to insecurity and Economic Recession?
Is that Nigerian problem
Where art thou LGBTQ? Nigeria's Reps want cross boundary. Take note and care! Cheers!

What a waste taxpayers money, the nation hard earned and borrowed money by these Reps member. If only they can tackle bill to check corruption, the mother of all our problems, we would have stand in ovation for them.

There are better things to talk about than this
Y’all skit makers’ careers in the mud
Out of all the millions problems facing Nigerians, these guys have time for cross dressers!? As in who cares! about that and what will that do for ordinary Nigerians living in poverty? Are these guys for real? Make Una get serious ooo
U people's are all mumu' is that the problem of Nigeria or bandit and insecurities we are facing
Leaving the real issues that are troubling the country to chase shadows. Nonsense!
The bill'll be good if it can include things like barning earrings, nails painting, braiding & relaxing of hair by d male folks, except which it'll be nonsense. I am very sure dis if passed into law'll convict dia children & associates. If we're them, I'll focus on sth important.
Shameless people leave kandun killing and kidnapping in the north to talk about cross dressing is very clear they don't have work again and laziness is making them bring issues like this
This people should face more serious issues.
