Members of the Osun State All Progressives Congress (APC) caucus in the House of Representatives have donated N5million to the state COVID-19 fund in support of the state government’s efforts.

Members of the Osun State All Progressives Congress caucus in the House of Representatives have donated N5million to the state COVID-19 fund in support of the state government’s efforts.that the donation is to assist in providing items that will serve as palliatives for the people, especially the self-employed, whose businesses have been affected.Fakeye listed the other members of the caucus to include Taiwo Oluga, Rasheed Afolabi, Lawrence Ayeni, Yinusa Amobi and Bukola Oyewo.

“We enjoin residents to stay at home and keep safe. We pray that God Almighty will heal our land,” Fakeye said. The legislator, who represents Epe Federal Constituency of Lagos State, promised to give economic grant to about 500 women to assist their businesses after the COVID-19 pandemic. He said the gesture is apolitical and as such is not limited to the political class, adding that his plan to support 500 women with grant to support their businesses that would have been affected by the pandemic when it subsides will also not be apolitical.
