Bayelsa Queens head coach, Domo Okara has admitted that Remo Stars Ladies outplayed his team in their matchday 11 tie in Yenagoa. The Prosperity Girls defeated Remo Stars Ladies 3-1 at the Samson Siasia Stadium on Wednesday.

Chinyere Igboamalu, Shakirat Moshood, and Aderemi Mary scored for Bayelsa Queens, while Precious Vincent was on target for Remo. Okara admitted that his players performed below expectations in the game. He however commended his girls for securing maximum points. “I am shocked at the way Remo Stars Ladies gave us a good fight,' Okara said in a post-match interview.

'My girls played below expectations, but the most important thing is the three points. You know this is the group of death and the visitors are no pushovers. “We still have a whole lot of work to do as you can see the game was not too fascinating, but like I said earlier the three points is the most important thing and I know we will do better in our next away game against Delta Queens next week.' Bayelsa Queens maintain their position at the top of the table with 22 points.
