The President of Mothers Union, Church of Nigeria (Anglican Communion), Mrs. Angela Eberechukwu Ndukuba, has charged women to remain steadfast, despite the trials facing them.

Ndukuba, who is also the president of the Women’s Guild of the Diocese of Abuja, spoke while delivering her presidential address at the women’s conference at the All Saints’ Anglican Church, Wuse Zone 5, Abuja. She spoke on the theme, “Be Ye Steadfast and Immovable in Challenging Times,” which was taken from I Cor. 15:58.

She admonished women to stand firm, be immovable in the course of any challenge, have faith in Christ; constantly study God’s Word; abound in God’s work; pray consistently and abide in God. The Primate of the church and Bishop of Diocese of Abuja, the Most Rev Henry Ndukuba, in his charge during the conference’s opening service, urged Christians, especially Christian women, not to allow trials to derail them from following Christ.
