President Muhammadu Buhari, Tuesday, in Abuja said he is sitting in his office, working with a clear conscience.
He said the recent listing of Nigeria for human rights concerns created an impression that some people were being unfairly treated or marginalized in the country.“I sit here with a clear conscience. I took an oath and I am honouring the office,’’ he said. In her remarks, the United States Ambassador said Nigeria was listed on a watch list to deepen conversation on the humanitarian situation in the country, accepting that some people could “flare the flames and crystalize issues’’ that could affect peaceful-coexistence.
Leonard assured President Buhari of support from the United States, especially on the humanitarian challenges, while appreciating the willingness to always share useful information and intelligence with her country.
I wonder the kind of conscience behind the ethnic cleansing going on in North East and Middle Belt. Mr President, we need you to work with the CONSTITUTION of Federal Republic of Nigeria as human conscience is deceptive and must not be trusted.
A clear conscience fears no accusation say Buhari, but protesting against the high handedness of his regime begets a clampdown.
Do you really have conscience!
Buhari is not your conscience we need because you did not come to power by your conscience but by the constitution of Nigeria, so obey the constitution not your conscience.
As the Law of God is greater than the Christian's conscience, so the Constitution is greater than the citizen's conscience. Mr President swore to uphold the Constitution not his conscience. So follow it as the only rule of Law.
The president should work with the law and construction of the Nigeria not with his conscience
Clear wetin.....?
