The union leaders in the six states that make up the region made this declaration in a communique issued at the end of its zonal meeting held in Ibadan on Friday. Our correspondent reports that the zonal meeting, which was hosted by the Oyo State Council, was presided over by the Zonal Vice President, Princess Ronke Afebioye-Samo.
They also bemoaned the deplorable condition of facilities at state and Federal Government-owned media outfits in the region. The zone also urged the Federal government to review some of its economic policies, urging it to come up with innovations to provide succour for the masses.
