Yobe State Governor, Mai Mala Buni, has approved the adjustment of official working hours in the public service for the holy month of Ramadan.With reference number GO/S/HOS/GEN/3/V.
It said Mondays to Thursdays, the official working hours are now from 8:00am – 3am, while on Fridays it will be from 8:00am – 12:00pm. “The adjustment covers the month of Ramadan only and normal working hours will commence immediately after the month of Ramadan”, the circular noted. The Head of Service, however, urged Ministries, Departments and Agencies of government to bring the content of the circular to the notice of all their staff for compliance.
