The Federal Government has been footing the bills for the accommodation and feeding of the batch of over 600 Nigerians evacuated from other countries and currently in quarantine in different hotels in Lagos and Abuja.
He stated, “The FG is paying for the feeding and accommodation of the evacuees for now, but subsequently, those that would come back would take care of their own bills. The decision to pick the tabs was taken by the PTF as a way of assisting the returnees.” On the first batch returnees, it was gathered that the government was paying for over 1,300 hotel rooms where the individuals repatriated from the United Arab Emirates, the United States and the United Kingdom were in 14-day isolation for COVID-19.Meanwhile, 500 Nigerians in Saudi Arabia have registered for repatriation, including those stranded after attending the lesser hajj.
Una Never see anything...but the federal govt wants to send terrorist boko haram members abroad for studies with tax payers money...
U fed govt of Nigeria re embarrassment
who took that decision in the first place? The poor Nigerians are dying of hunger, u cant provide 1 day meal, no electricity but u can use tax payers money to feed people that went on vacation, business trips to Europe. God will judge u all
Fair enough. Makes sense
But Sadiya_farouq will insist on feeding school children at home just to embezzle my oil and gas money. God will judge all of them. Godless rulers in Nigeria. Shame!
This country..Nawaoo
Makes sense. Not when you want to feed millions of imaginary school children at the cost of almost 700million naira daily. Wehdone sa!
Are they aware of FG not footing their hotel, food, treatment bills before accepting to return to their country? If the answer is 'no' then the FG should reconsider it.
Wow... What a wise decision by the Federal Government!!!. Bunch of mumues handling the business of the government!!!
What do u know about Covid-19 chk this interview wit akinsola_tosin on channelstv watch and comment
Allow them to go to their various homes to treat themselves
Corona virus patients in abroad hardly breath, but in Nigeria the patients come out to protest against poor treatment 😂😂😂
Bunch of thiefs and criminals in this government of MBuhari and OfficialAPCNg is appalling.
But you guys claim to have feed children in their homes
🤔
I support it. There is a form they filled before they were brought to Nigeria, let it be enforced. Do you know how much it cost? Have I a home base tax paying citizen enjoyed such freebies? In as much as you went abroad on your own & decided to return, be ready to bear the cost
Mr President Nigerian returnees are kept in a designated and restricted locations and you are unwilling to cater for mere feeding Do you expect relatives to bring food for them there or Food vendors set up shops. You are so wise Congratulations Sir
FG can feed the ghost pupils.
But wants to feed school children on holidays with N600m plus daily! Phew ode government
No serious organisation can afford to run its agenda like the way Nigeria is run. No wonder, we are yet to experience true development like some.
Then it should be optional!
I shame for this government
Even both american and Canada never evacuate free of charge .Say another one
