Peter Okoye, the one half of the disbanded group, Psquare, has said he does not regret his decision to pursue a solo music career.
Coincidentally, the interview aired on his elder brother and former Psquare manager, Jude’s birthday. He said, “When I was still with PSquare people didn’t know what I did, they thought I wasn’t contributing anything to the group. They didn’t know I set up Psquare’s official band and I was very involved in our video shoots.
Speaking on the collaboration, Mr. P noted that he wrote the song when he was still performing with his brother as Psquare.

Analysing Nigerian Hip-hop music, we found out that neither the name Mr P, King Rudy or Psquare was suitable to be included in our classroom top 10 chart 2018/2019. The students didn't identify with any of their songs as a mega hit for the year. Quite regrettable.
